Popcorn Reading From Sally Hundley, a teacher at Waynesville Middle School in Waynesville, North Carolina: ìA reading tip that I have STOLEN completely from another teacher is ëpopcorní reading. When I have students read a passage, they only read as much as they can handle and then can say ëpopcorní and the name of another student who reads next. Most end up reading longer passages than they would be assigned by me and all have to stay on their toes. Also, it doesn't hurt someone who has trouble reading aloud to read only a little and then popcorn to someone else.î |
